How can I tell if the LEATHERWOOD products are suitable for my leather item/s? A. It will depend on the ‘finish’ of the leather. If it is finished/treated (smooth) then our products will generally be suitable. Alternatively if it is ‘unfinished’, like a suede, nubuck or certain fully aniline leathers then unfortunately our products would not be suitable. It is very difficult to offer advice as there are so many different types of leather therefore we always recommend to spot test on an inconspicuous area first. Q. Can LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam be used on Patent leather? A. Unfortunately, LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam is not generally suitable for items with a ‘patent’ finish as it does not allow the Balsam to soak into the leather. Q. Can LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam/Cleaner be used on Suede & Nubuck? The LEATHERWOOD Cleaner is suitable for cleaning all Leathers, including Suede, Nubuck and other Sneakers. The Balsam could also be used on certain ones but it will most likely darken the colour of your item, only do this if your Item is very worn and you are not happy with it being in better condition, but permanently darker. Q. Can LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam/Cleaner be used on distressed leather? A. Unless your product is very old or worn we would not recommend using LEATHERWOOD on distressed leather, as it is highly likely to remove the distressed look and change your item to a darker smooth looking product. Q. Can LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam/Cleaner be used on Aniline Leathers? A. We wouldn't recommend using LEATHERWOOD Cleaner/Leather Balsam on Aniline leathers, it will likely darken and change the look of your item. Q. I have used LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam and it has left the item greasy, what do I do? A. It is likely you have used more Leather Balsam than was required, one of the great benefits of LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam is you only require a small amount. Wipe off the excess with a clean dry cloth and your item should end up looking great. Q. Will LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam fix cracks in my leather Sofa or Car seat? A. Many customers have used the product to minimize the appearance of cracks or scuffs in leather. However, if the cracks have gone below the pigment of the leather, it is unlikely to help. We recommend caution applying the product if the pigment coating has started to flake around the cracks, as any rubbing with a sponge or cloth could cause more damage. Q. Can you use LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam/Cleaner on fake/faux leather? A. The Leather Cleaner should still be effective on fake or faux leather to remove daily dirt and grime. The Leather Balsam is designed specifically to be used on real leather, so there is a high chance it would not be absorbed leaving the item greasy or darker in appearance. Q. Can LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam be used on leather products with a gore-tex lining? LEATHERWOOD Leather Balsam is a walker’s favourite. Once applied, it allows the leather to breathe naturally therefore won’t harm the effectiveness of the Gore-Tex.

SHIPPING & RETURN
Shipping & Delivery
An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are to serve as a guide and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping rather than the date of order. Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday). Weekend orders are shipped by the following Monday (excluding Public Holidays), including priority shipments. Depending on the courier that you picked during checkout, your package may get a limited delivery attempt before it will be returned to us. In event of package being returned due to failed delivery, re-delivery fees will be charged to the customer according to the delivery options chosen. Within Singapore: As per the information provided by the shipper, the order will arrive in 2-4 working days. Please note that working days do not include weekends and public holidays. Outside Singapore: All shipments are sent using one of our reputable courier agencies. Generally, the delivery will take 3-14 working days to arrive depending on the City. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your shipment online.Delivery times may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, mode of delivery, and the items ordered.
Return Policy
In case for some reason you wish to Exchange or Cancel your merchandise, we allow returns or exchanges up to 14 days from the date of order received. We will need receipt or proof of purchase, the item must be unused and in the same condition received. Authenticity cards and dust cover (if any) must be included in the original packaging. The customer will have to bear the shipping fees and any additional costs (taxes and duties, etc) for the return shipment. We will not be responsible for any loss or damages occurred during shipment. Item exchanges would depend on the stock availability. Only regular priced items may be returned or exchanged.Sale items are non-refundable or exchangeable. You can request a Return/Exchange by sending an Email to leatherwoodshop@outlook.com with a copy of the Invoice and with photos if possible:Replacement item (SKU No., Colour) - if applicable. You will receive an email from our representative with regards to your request. Items returned will be inspected at our discretion.Refund or exchange will be processed after inspection. This will take 3-5 working days. In the event that the item(s) is found to not meet the return criteria, item(s) will be shipped back to the customer and shipping fees will be charged to the customer. For item exchanges, if the value of the replacement item is higher than the original item, an e-invoice for the new item will be issued. Once the payment has been received, we will proceed to refund the returned item and ship the new item. For refunds the customer can choose from the following options: 1. Original payment method 2. Online Voucher amounting to the original item price. Voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
Tracking your Order
You will find a tracking code in the Order Confirmation email that we send to you. Simply click on the tracking code to check the status of your shipment and assess how soon before it reaches the delivery destination. Kindly note that tracking data may take up to 24 hours to be updated. As our online store is set up to process your orders quickly and efficiently, we regret that we are not able to change the delivery address after the order leaves our premises. Kindly decide on a suitable address when you are completing your order. In case of any error in placing the order please kindly contact our e-Customer Care Personnel at leatherwoodshop@outlook.com to assist you. Please advise us your order number and a simple explanation to describe the error. While we cannot guarantee that we can rectify the issue in time, you can have our assurance that we will do our utmost to ensure your shopping experience remains a pleasant one. In case of multiple orders your items will arrive in separate parcels if you had placed orders separately.
